I have been using RainX since it first came out and when they came out with the washer fluid version it was even easier to use because you didn't even have to apply the concentrate to get results, just the washer fluid by itself applied RainX and every time you wash the windshield you were applying more RainX. Definitely the best best in my mind.

Great! Many question your method of bearing friction test. Reasons are valid, modern oil additives do not function in this manner. Zinc DD Phosphate, Molybdenum are Organo-functional Silane (like a sperm, metal head w/polymer tail) bonds to Fe on head. Calcium n Boron are base to reduce acidity of ZDDP. Suggest heat treat wear wheel in oil to bond additives to Fe.

You should redo the lubricity and viscosity testing with the proper amount of leak sealant. There's no way 50% of the oil in my crankcase will be a leak sealant.

Your test stand is not realistic. In real life, the object being filled will easily move or shift. Also the inlet of a car is at 3’ above ground level. No comments were made about try to hold open the spring loaded nozzles with one hand, holding an ~40 pound gas container with the other hand and tllt the container in order to pour the gas out.

I really enjoy replacing worn parts on used cars, there is a great deal of satisfaction and this video encompassed every part of the satisfaction of restoring a near-dead car to a completely reliable and respectable vehicle. That (quick) journey in this video was "very satisfying" as they say. I have done all of the above to a Chevy S-10 and a couple of BMW's. I think anything made between 1991 and 2010 is worth this restoration... and finding a car worth restoring is the real trick. Also, even with all that stuff fixed, there will still be 'something' not quite right with an older car... you have to decide that it's ok that it's not perfect... and that is very tough for me... part of life's journey for me. ha. I really enjoyed this video, thanks for making it.

I have the granberg. I do handfile my chains most of the time. But on the occasion I wreck one. I know the granberg will reorient the cutters to like new or better without having to ruin a hand file on a single chain bringing a cutter way back after knocking the corner off .

You have lots of videos and comments on testing Oil but if you receive/see this been watching videos on a channel called "The Motor Oil Geek" that goes into great depth and scientific analysis on oil basically you shouldn't be shaking ( i.e. it's unnecessary) the oil before using/testing. If the additives fall out of suspension shaking the oil will not put them back into suspension. If the new oil isn't really new or the additives are out of suspension (inspect the oil and bottom the container) then you shouldn't be using the oil and should be recycled/disposed off properly. You will not get accurate test results if you are using oil where the additives have fallen out of suspension even if shaking appears to work. they will fall out of suspension again.

I'm a big fan of this guy and appreciate his testing methods and videos. I'm wondering if using the same brand/type of chain on all the saws would have made a difference in cutting speed, given that a better quality chain, sharpened correctly, can make a significant difference compared to a budget chain. For what it's worth, I bought the Stihl chain sharpener based on Todd's video - lots of other stuff, too - and have gotten outstanding results with it.
